Terms of Service
Effective August 12, 2026. These terms govern your use of HomeOS.
Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and the HomeOS operator, the provider of HomeOS. By creating an account or using HomeOS, you agree to them.
Using HomeOS
You must provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and use HomeOS lawfully. You are responsible for content you upload and must have permission to store and share it. Do not use the service to harm others, bypass access controls, disrupt the service, or upload unlawful or malicious material.
Your Content and Shared Homes
You retain ownership of your content and grant HomeOS the limited rights needed to host, process, reproduce, and display it to provide the service. People invited to a home may access its content according to their role. Owners are responsible for invitations and ownership transfers. Deleting an account does not remove content that remains part of a home shared with other members; the deleted identity is detached.
Informational Service
HomeScore, inventory analysis, OCR, assistant answers, maintenance suggestions, and claim-preparation materials are informational tools. They may be incomplete or inaccurate and are not insurance, legal, financial, engineering, appraisal, inspection, or emergency advice. Verify important records and decisions with qualified professionals.
Service Availability
Features may change, be interrupted, or depend on third-party services and compatible hardware. We may suspend access needed to address security, legal, or abuse concerns. You should retain independent copies of records you cannot afford to lose.
Disclaimers and Responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, HomeOS is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Termination and Contact
You may stop using HomeOS or delete your account in Settings. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive. For questions about these terms, contact Support.
